For every ten responsible pet owners, there is an owner like the one in this blurry picture taken at Main Street Garden.
Considering that Main Street Garden has an actual dog park, and it was not very hot outside, it is absurd that this woman would decide that it's OK to not curb either of her two dogs or pick up after them as they used the main lawn as a port-a-potty. I realize that dogs stop on their own time, but we do have bag in the park. This was the third such instance I saw in ten minutes while waiting for my food at the Lily Pad Cafe (great nachos, btw).
My hope is that either we get real enforcement of this issue downtown and people get issued tickets. After 2-3 tickets the word will get out to the rest of the violators.
Think of how great it will be to sit in that same spot when they start showing movies on the lawn, or when people are playing volleyball and an errant serve lands in that spot. Dishonorable mention goes to people that let their dogs go on the sidewalks on Main Street.

That is so awful! It takes two minutes to pick up the poo and you can even get little baggies that attach to the dog's collars!
I have not seen anyone doing it but I do see a lot of doo doo on bike trails and parks. I get really upset that its so dirty and disgusting. The other day I went off the sidewalk into the grass and fell trying to avoid a pile of this non sense. It's a health hazard and safety hazard for bicyclist and pedestrians alike. I cant wait until the day I see someone just let their dog and do their business and not pick it up. Boy will I get on their case. I will call authorities if I have to.
