I think Gold Metal Recyclers saw what happened to Oak Cliff Metals on the other side of the MLK Bridge and hastily put together some drawings and a PR package in an attempt to stem the tide.
Among others, there are questions that need to be asked and answered by the owners of Gold Metal.
1) What about the piles of metal that you can see all the way from I-45? As it has been pointed out, the renderings don't any scrap metal at all.
2) I thought that Gold Metal was working on a plan that included members of the community, churches, and various community groups. What happened to that plan?
3) What about the people that own houses in the middle of your plan?
I guess we'll all find out soon enough.
